My Dad just came back from the Speyer aero jumble (damn my work commitments!!!!!!) And said that there wasnt much there Heer wise but he did pick me up this lovely little mirror, which I am very happy with! The detail is far better than the picture shows (the flash highlights and removes much of the intricate detail) But the overall quality and accuracy of the detailing can only make it a pre TR WK2 piece. Where it has rubbed over the years the silver has given way to a brassy colour and the rest of the mirror reverse has a beautiful oxidised patina. I wonder whether it was a one off piece using the backing from another item bent over a mirror or was a specifically designed item designed to be sold to wehrmacht soldiers by an enterprising German??
