SA/Weimar ammopouch - help

Hi everyone

Can some one help me on this one it seems to be a Weimar period ammopouch that later on was used by "SA" units? If so what SA-units carried ammopouches?
Rare? Its stamped on the reverse with a company logo a moose/deer and some letters (unreadable). Underneath in large lettering "INT/28". On top of the lid in the middel its stamped SA in a box.

The SA stamp stands for something like "Soumi aramaija" or something, with other words: Finnish army, so its not Sturm abteilung.

I agree--pieces actually used by the SA are either unmarked, used (e.g. old Imperial pieces), have an SA unit stamping or other designation, or are RZM'd. The SA in a box is found on a lot of German equipment that was used in Finland postwar.

Hi

The Finish army used a lot of German made pouches they always/sometime bear doubbel stamp one with maker location and year and SA. This one I guess is a local Finish produced while the is a deer punched in the rear side. I have a few myself.

Ans as told the SA is the Finish army inventory mark.

Yes it is Finnish made copy of WW1 model German ammo pouch from 1920-30´s. There were also a lot of original WW1 German pouches used by Finnish army. SA = Suomen Armeija = Finnish Army.

Int is for Finnish Army Economic Office (Intendentuuri)
And 28 is for year 1928, it was taken in to the inventory.

So it has a small history of its own. (Altough for smaller interest-group...)

Some German originals are marked Sky or S.Y. for Suojeluskunta for Finnish paramilitary defence forces. Suojeluskunta was was disbanded in november 1944 due to peace agreement with Soviet Union.

Finnish Army used material from many countries, Imperial Russia, Soviet Union( not given voluntarily ), Imperial Germany, Third Reich and Sweden.
