Found these in the bottom of a Gas Mask canister..what are they???

I'm taking guess, but they might be wipes for the gasmask eye pieces.

That's what is was thinking but refered to it as a gas test when I was thinking gas detection.....It's that pink paper that brought that to mind.

The pink paper things are the so called “Lost Tafeln” and were used to detect gas ... (Lost was a sort of gas)

it looks like they were sewn in gascape material ...... never seen them like this, very interesting !
