Wehrmacht issue Locker, just restored

Hi all,

I have just finished the restore of a nice Wehrmacht locker. When i got it it was completly post war green. It was realy trouble to remove all the color by hand. I have painted the metal fittings exactly the way they were back in ww2. The locker is marked on the side and inside. The "H.U." stamping means "Heeres Unterkunft". The locker has all of the original hooks and fittings.

If anyone has a pic showing the locker opened with all the stuff stored inside i would be very happy.

Outstanding! All of the Riebert handbooks show the locker open, with the proper method of storage. These are still commonly available in Germany.

thanks, yes you are right about the Reibert books. I have one right here. But the pics in it ar enot that clear and i thought to get a pic from a fotoalbum or so.
