Mp 40 ammo pouch DAK from Crete.

Sometimes very nice things come up even now. This mp40 ammo pouch was found recently in Pelekapina HQ in Chania. Many other items were left as they were from the Germans and remained untouched by the owner of one of the houses. IMG_20200727_194219.jpg

No i think it is after the battle of Crete. Colours are not correct in this fj photo.

That's a great discovery! For my Kreta FJ, I used the same type. A matched 1940 dated pair.

nothing like special color for FJ pouches exist ,your fit the bill for Kreta use ,and its early one as you can see in the period photo posted above in this thread .
