    Last ditch Y-straps

While going through a case of packed collection stuff (my new room still isn't finished), I found these Y-straps again.

Made of four kinds of webbing, even some pieces of what seems like English webbing were used.

I think these might be some altered postwar Czech straps. The wide webbing on the middle parts as well as the narrow auxilary straps looks very much like Czech webbing. Can't tell much else from the photos, but I didn't even look hard at the hardware. But I'm sure some folks know much more about them than I do.

yup.. I dont like it too much either - we need more closeups of all kinds of webbing and closeup of leather under O-ring, - but so far I am kinda negative on these ones

... and the last ... the canvas at the small D-rings.

I hope this gives you more to form your opinion. I'llwait and see

( I bought this about 15 years ago, so it won't hurt that much if it turns out to be NOK )

                        Hi Bart

I wouldn't want them in my collection to be honest..... so IMHO I'm sorry to say they are fake.

Honestly Bart - I think the same like Tom.... sorry mate..

hardware looks good - except of O ring - paint looks like czech green on this element.... but whole thing is just put together set from original hardware and post war straps

lets wait for other opionions to be sure...
