    again, Manny is correct. We would never use Baujahr for any kind
    of garment

      The issue is not whether the term "Baujahr" might be used in a conversation about garments.

      The issue is the term "Baujahr" is in fact a legitimate marking on an original LW issue garment.

        Often seen on flight pieces. Sorry to burst some people's bubble, it's not a myth.

          Are you sure its not that little group of Czech ol' ladies working feverishly behind the iron curtain for years using original fabric, avionics, snaps, zippers, etc. to fool us collectors????
