Well, it's the ultimate for me anyway. nicest I have ever seen. I bought it in Europe last year but I just got it delivered this week.
The small black ink/paint acceptance mark is still visible as well as the white "W" on top to denote it as a water cannister without viewing the sides.
It is strange. I have had dozens of these and seen many others in either tan or gray, but have only ever observed the "ABA" maker and 1942 date. has anybody ever seen one of a different maker/date?
