Can you post a close-up of the back strap front and back? It is missing the central ring leather disk. Many times a replaced back strap goes along with it. This is usually associated with straps used as part of Y strap type packs.

Yes, "that's all" as Michael points out. However, I would not purchase them unless very cheap due to the missing piece.

agree.... it's going to be hard to get that part alone.... also straps with resewn/replaced elements are fine only to starting collection..

I think the straps themselves are okay - they are neither reworked Czech nor NVA, but I do know what the rear strap is - its simply the belt hook strap from the early war, er, prewar model of tornister with integral straps. These straps are often missing off early tornisters. That is what the leather loop on the bottom of that pattern of tornister is for.

                  Hello Everybody,
I like the straps and have seen in past photo of a soldat in Poland (1939) with Y-Straps missing this piece. They have other photos showing same style but I dont have photos available in my database.

Back strap definitely replaced from a fur tornister...
