I'd love to share with my friend Jos and with all the members this pair of original WW2 German sports shoes for the Armed Forces!
They'r not as glamorous as FJ or tropical footwear but they're just as rare in their "Kommis" guise!The can easily be seen worn in North Africa by German soldiers,especially when not in action, even if I've been told by a German vet that comfortable shoes were often used by tankers because they assured a firm step on sloping or slippering surfaces.....drivers and RTOs had to make do with boots in order not to burn their legs with the transmissions though
