Spare barrel container, is it MG-34?

I got this a few weeks ago. To me it looks like a Laufbehälter 34, but a friend of mine suspects it might be for MG-13 (also cheap price gives a little doupt in my mind).

Not too good condition but still retaining some original paint.
And carrier sling seems original, altough it is straight without adjusting buckle.

Also if you have any hints for cleaning the rust, I would like know. Maybe I should leave it as is?

It's a double barrel carrier for the MG34. You can always wipe it down with some gun oil on a cloth rag to remove any light surface rust. It'll also help it from rusting anymore. Nice find!
