Seller from the first post says:

"Supposedly canteen of an air forces officer - so one has said to me (1940 till 1947 in England and Canada interns; pictures of it can be provided).

Can describe here only how this part presents itself after inspection for me. Cannot say whether the information votes to the origin and to the age which one has done to me.

Very good general condition. Corrosion-free and very clean.

Aluminum bottle has some small level depressions – actually, not of the speech worth. Stamped in the neck: V.A.L.39.
Screw cap from aluminum. Corrosion-free, very clean. Rubber 100% receive.
Aluminum cup air force blue varnishes (some tiny Abplatzer). Almost free. Stamped in the handle fitting: P.Pr. Bln.
Felt cover and Sewing flawlessly receive and absolutely clean. 4 varnished and patterned push buttons fast closing.
Carbine hooks corrosion-free.
Leather straps and Sewing (all black) and buckle (black varnished) very well receive "
