    Marching boots period German?

    Any thoughts on these boots? Period German?

    Not WH issue but may be for OFF .
    The stamping is missing the width size and looks not that old ...

      Never seen wartime knobelbechers made of pig leather ( those usualy were made postwar for DDR army ). Can't say if wartime or postwar; maybe private made as mentuoned.

          Thanks everyone. It does look period made to me because of the construction, the shaft, sole, the iron plate, etc. but I never owned a pig leather pair before.

            Same here, except the leather, all is what I like on a true WW2 pair of marching boots. As said, maybe private purchase but I would rather say local contract for a small amount.
