Original skull. I like the finish. I have a vet aquired "394-35" CupAl eagle that has a worn silver finish on the back side, but a perfect mint painted front. It is known that these early insignia were often painted over on the front side later for use by the Waffen SS. Also, the wear to the paint finish on this skull looks legit, imo. Just my thoughts!
