Need some help - is this a Allgemein SS drivers sleeve patch and could it be period???

It’s for a member of a motorized unit on the staff of an SS-Oberabsnitt. (Ref: Angolia, Cloth Insignia of the SS, 2nd Ed., 1989, Page 123).

Not sure if it’s original. Buckram and reverse construction seem weak.

Need better pictures. I think this is a pre - RZM insignia and some of these can be very tricky. Based on these pictures, it has a chance, but the jury is definitely still out.

An in hand inspection might well change my mind, but based solely on these blurry pictures, I still have doubts. Rather sloppy and odd buckram.

Actually this pattern badge was introduced in 1934 (SS-Price List Nr. 1) and was for all members of a motorised unit.

Not the best craftsmanship, I would expect a better job on the spokes lining up with each other.
