    SS Insignia Oppinions

Here are a few SS pieces I just bought out of an private estate sale of a recently deceased Vet via his Wife....everything else is non SS which I will post later....there was (2) SA insignia 24/77 numbered sewn on brown collar tabs????? one has a RZM tag......embroidered Police Officer insignia(nice!!)..Army General insignia(gold on field grey, breast eagle)....200 + books(Ballentine..Mollo etc...)...a metal NSDAP/National Eagle, Swastika plaque(24" x 14" marked on the back...I think it is cast aluminum)....flag.. etc(flag is maker marked with a tag, a very small sized flag maybe 3'X4')...Mitte Veteran cuff title.....Oft Berlin HJ triangle......other HJ insignia.......he was a Vet but she(his Wife) never saw any of it until he died recently...bring backs or flea market buys who knows??? She never saw any of it until she started cleaning out to move...all the swords and daggers went to a family friend
.......what do you guys think of the insignia.....it is all very "salty" looking the trapezoid skull/eagle set is grey on green background ...the other two are grey on black.... bevo construction for the SS runes and sewn construction for the arm eagle?? they were mounted in three different frames with a bunch of Nazi stamps.....are Nazi stamps valuable??

    Thank you,
    Mark

    Mark,

These are all original. in fact, the SS trapaziod eagle and skull is the only pattern of these I still am looking for. Many collectors believe these are fakes, but I know they are authentic late war patterns.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Thanks for the responses thus far

All this material was collected or Vet brought back 30-60 years ago...like I mentioned in the first post...his Wife said all this he had before they were married...she is in her sixties or so.....the books I mentioned are mostly from the late sixties early seventees...if the trapezoid were fake it is 100% without question at least 30 years old if he did buy it somewhere.....I don't think he did though....could someone let me know what these three are worth at retail?...e-mail me direct..thanks.I forgot to mention also that everything was taken off uniforms...you can see stitch holes etc..very salty.
          Thanks,
          Mark
