The collar tab does not seem to be a standard Dachau tab. There are minor differences in the design, the black cloth is wrong and the cutting guidelines are too close to the tabs edges. I'm not saying it is a fake, but it is different.

There’s nothing wrong with it brother, it’s probably just the photo. The stitching on the back is just how you want to see them and the cloth is also ok.

Here’s my original latvian tab for comparison

Here is my tab for comparison. This one is from the Dachau shore house and has been in my possession since about 1988.

The embroidery is essentially identical to Eyedea794’s tab, but the wool looks totally different. I don’t think is just due to loss of nap.

However, when compared to the tab posted by klasterix71, there are minor differences in embroidery design as well as the different wool. Probably just different production runs.

Real tell how

Take 2 sewing needles and with the tips spread the thread work aside and underneath should be very sloppy guide thread work for construction. If no sloppy thread work underneath then it's a no go
