This is my first of these stickpins, any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm presuming the number is 26079? Hard to see so well but I don't want to clean the reverse patina. Thanks in advance.

I know you don't want to clean it, but the image of the reverse is not the best. I can hardly make out the numerals and lettering. Can you try a close up? If a cell phone, try taking a picture through an magnifying glass.

Thank you gents. This one came to me as a small addition with a dagger so it wasn't touted as anything at all. That made my think it's probably good.

The dagger is numbered and I was hoping to tie the pin with the dagger but I think their acquisition was incidental and the vet probably just grabbed whatever he could.

I did try with a cellphone and didn't do so well. These pics were with a 35mm zoomed in, was just very tough to manage. I'll see what I can find in the way of a magnifying glass and try more.
