Why is it not possible that this weave on the edge, just might be a manufacturer variation?

Gary, I personally think it is. I have seen several GOOD cufftitles with that weave pattern. I think they like to call it houndstooth.

Backside of the stitching looks modern to me, has a sharp ridge down the center.

Certainly not my area, but isn’t the lettering a little thick and a bit sloppy?
