    Oak leaf drill jacket

    Hello all

This a picture from the ex Dr. BORSARELLO's collection.
This M.44 Jacket in oak leaf B HBT isn't printed on the Inside and come in never used condition.
The other jackets of this type that I've seen before have the inside printed in spring.
Could someone guive me further explanations on this variation ?

    Regards

Hello do you have any closer up pictures of this do you have pictures of the inside?
Not printed on both sides is uncommon to say the least.

Yers , I do agree with you
But with SS garnments, the rule is not always respected …….

Here is a modern view that's better than my English

Not a real one imo. Looks like reproductions made by Panther Store in CZ, which also are only one-side printed.

I am far from knowledgeable int this field, however, I would Not own an example that was not also 'spring side' printed.

This is Oak B (thread starter being the much rarer A), but agreed. Besides the obvious fake single-sided fabric, the construction is wrong as well- no hooks for the collar?

                  Ok thanks for your advices.
For Graham : Yes this tunic as a collar hook
As far as I remember Dr BORSARELLO got this uniform in the early 80's.
He was a pionner in SS Camouflaged uniforms...So he has been fooled by a CZ copy
I show you another view of his collection, just to understand the level of his jems (and he considered this M44 as one)....

                  Regards

I am aware of Borsarello and his collection, but sadly, this set isn't one of the gems. He has a lot of fantastic stuff there, but this isn't part of it, unfortunately.

                      Hi,

Where did you buy this jacket from, direct from Dr Borsarello's estate or where?

                      Jon
