    help with buckle!!

    Hi, I'm new here and I have a question. Could you help me check this buckle for its originality and give me information. I have a friend in Germany who looks for with his detector and save that I like the Second World War and he has given me what you can say thank you very much greetings

    As you know, it is heavily corroded, (relic condition), but I strongly believe that it is authentic.

      Do you know of any type of treatment to prevent its deterioration I had thought of bathing it in silver but I do not know or some lacquer or something and keep commenting to be encouraged

        Many collectors agree that with zinc pieces, it helps to apply a thin film of vaseline throughout. This will help prevent further corosion and will not harm the piece. I have done this with good results, before I invested in a dehumidified, anti-moisture collecting room. Hope this helps!
