For me this is not a Deschler way connecting technology.
A learge solder amount is visible on the back.
By the way IMO its not possible to proof this skull as Deschler or orginal period made skull if this skull is ,,second hand".(not found by you)

        Hi,

direct link to the current lot 40-744 of Ratisbons 31.

        https://www.ratisbons.com/31st-Conte...cap-skull.html

The skull is not identified as a Deschler model on the lot presentation.

Does not look like solder to me, it's probably epoxy resin.

Thank you guys. For me it looked familiar to Deschler.
That's why I was wondering about the prongs setup

So it seems to be something that can not be identified?

              Hi,

as best, the skull is "strange", at worse it is a fake casted one.

              See You

I dunno, don't pretend to know it all , but the patina on the backside would be difficult to fake IMO

In a recent thread, where other "unmarked chler" impoluted in the "nickel silver finish spray" came out, has anyone made comparisons ??? That would be the original aspect of this, before taking that "dificult to fake" patina ???????

Looks like somebody added SS runes in pencil or something in back [top center].
