What’s there to be afraid of if you are a man who posts of your own free will ?

What’s exactly your question regarding this real wartime camouflage smock ?

I'm not afraid, this is my previous experience with this forum. I have already received the answer, and I admit that I was satisfied.

There is nothing wrong with this forum or any other. It seems your beef with the forum has to do with the answers you receive. When the items are good people say they are good when they are bad you get that answer as well.

Jeff with all due respect, I still don't understand something.
No, IMO this is not true. It is good when the opinion is supported by some information on the subject. Not only, good or bad, and you should agree with this indisputably. I have the right not to know everything, otherwise this forum doesn't make sense. If in Lw badges I know the reason why I do not agree with the opinion, I can say why, why in this forum this missing ?

Here are many members with great knowledge and they are quite willing to give you their honest opinion. I can agree that its gets a bit rough from time to time but in the end their comments have saved so many collectors so much money that its beyound comprehension. There is no obligation to explain in detail why they comment like they do. Its part of the community to understand which members that have that deep knowledge that you can trust, and those not to trust.

We are all here on our free spare time and like share knowledge - please be happy for that. An ungreatful attitude will get you nowhere. In the future there is a chance that they will not take their time to evaluate your items - ie the free help that is so great to get.

                Cheers

I think it was a bit tongue in cheek.

                  Have you bought the smock?

Badge collecting is a different world. Everything is generally available to exactly why a badge is fake or original. Traits are explained and details pointed out. Cloth, SS, hats are not the same. There is a generally a paranoia about pointing out the smallest things that separate fake from real. Also, a lot of it is personal experience of the experts who are posting that was gleaned from a hands on with hundreds and thousands of pieces. It is never as simple as saying a badge lacks detail in the feathers. Anyway, there are many helpful people on this forum.

                            Hi Jeff
I understand that you are trying to settle the dispute amicably . Jeff, I value you, how and some people from this forum.
However I do not agree with your opinion that in the subject of Lw badges everything is easy, "feather left, feather right" - and this not the problem. It's not that easy either.
However, in this forum IMO are "all-knowing" who are not willing to share the knowledge, and they think thattalking to laymen on the subject is a waste of time. IMO is a disregard that leads to nowhere
                            ps:
You closed the topic of Visor Cap, although he didn't teach me anything
