Transitional Cupal Deschler TK Cap Skull

I own this skull and it looks real, I'm just surprised at how thin, small and light it is compared to my Overhoff and Zimmerman skulls.

Good eye, yeah I just hate flimsy lightweight pieces. Alway want to see over-engineered hardware and reinforced metal.

Lovely skull with a quit uncommon (early) prong attachement.
They were soldered at their side and bottom and then plied upwards.

Do you have another Deschler to compare the overall size?
I've got a D&SM marked skull and it's also a little smaller in size to my other regular
sized M1/52 499/41 and M1/24's in my collection.

I only own Zimmerman’s and an Overhoff this is my first deschler. I can tell the other deschlers are way thicker just based on the pictures of them, don’t know about the size

Good "one look" original without doubts.

I have never seen anything like it . . . For me the attachment is a repair

This connection type is correct for Belgian type of skulls but for early Deschler I don't think so.
Using sophisticated CupAl technology and finishing it witch bogey of solder is funny.

PS Skull of course is very ,very nice despite this ,, lead"

You are, of course, wrong. There are enough intact examples out there to show that this style of pin attachment WAS used by Deschler for a while. I'm sure someone will post an example or two?

                          Of course Im not wrong.
Deschler skulls exist witch verticale mounted pins but not witch solder on almost quarter of skull surface.
