            Hi!

The original Lw Flak jacket is not stripped of all' its regalia, It still have the red piping and under those strange tabs seems to looking the right Flak tabs.

            Best,

I have an unissued 4 pocket LW flak tunic that came with red collar piping, plain red tabs (no gulls) and a breast eagle. It had no shoulder straps, just loops and buttons. So to me it makes sense that the tunic would not have been issued with shoulder straps, as the straps and the number of gulls both depended on rank. I suspect the breast eagle on the example shown was removed by the vet as a souvenir.

                        IMO . . .
This tunic has been shipped home during the war time period.
The insignia pinned to it is what the soldier had collected at the time, he used the postal services to tabs to hide the patches for some odd reason.
It was all sewn on to keep it all together
                        Regards David
