Completely agree, the US and Soviet regimes showed complete lack of scruples in who they employed after the conflict.

I’d dance with the devil himself to protect my immediate family. To protect a nation potentially on the brink of fighting the Soviet Union I’d squeeze whatever I could out of a defeated nation.

The US also used a lot of the scientific experiment information conducted in the camps and declared as crimes.

It’s unsavoury but at the time deemed necessary by forward thinking government.

Bumming around the Kammersee today, searching for Kammler's horde. Not much turned up today - but we did manage to find the elusive cave. Probably not going in there - but will continue the search over the coming days. That is, between all the weissbier and trout, of course.
