    All apologies, Mike! These little beauties are fine and legit. Possibly ground dug, or just aged and uncleaned, as suggested by the others. These are the real deal. What I thought was rust was just the color of the metal!
    What is really cool is that they are in such similar condition!

    Peter, my eyesight isn’t what it used to be, cornea transplant recently and need another. Pardon my blunder.

      I was not offended, I promise! We are good, and I am a better collector for it!

      It was good for you to point out my mistake - made me do a retake and look at this on a bigger screen!
