One armed Gruppenführer?

Gentelmen, I got a small grouping of a SS Rottenführer (in the picture) and there was a picture of this one-armed Gruppenführer included. And In my opinion, they look very similar to me, I thought maybe father and son? But the Rottenführers name is Thomas(s)o, and there was no Gruppenführer Thomaso...
And one other funny thing: Could it be, that the eagle on the cap of the Rottenführer is a diplomatic one????

Thomas(s)o sounds mora of a first name, not a family name. No diplomatic eagle on the youngster's cap, just pinch the peak and the eagle will look kinda weird.

The two documents, some photos and the emblem for the sport shirt was in the grouping
The one documet is signed by Friedrich-Wilhelm Krüger.

Spot on HPL2008.
Kleinheisterkamp used a great variety of arm eagles on his uniforms, from the Hammerhead enlisted mans eagle through to the 1st pattern in the photo -this is as late as 1944.

With Nord, you see a wide variety of different insignia configurations for caps. By any chance, can we see some small versions of the other photos with the grouping?
