It’s been determined that this cover is bad, but I am wondering what are the telltale signs on this specific one. Is it the clips, stitching, material or a combination of errors? Additional details would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Hi,

mainly stitching and possibly material.
Collectors "in the know" are reluctant to provide too much infos, because it is easy to use Zeltbahnen or raw material fabric to create real-fake 5k or more helmet covers... Many generations of fake helmet covers existed over the years...
