SS Visor Schaftmütze Traditionsmütze for Review

    Hello

I would like to know your thoughts.

This hat was produced into the Saarland in Saarbrücken. Milliner Gädicke Saarbrücken. Mützenfabrik.

Saarland belonged to france after the first WW, until 1935. Then the Saarland came back to the german empire.

The Owner was into the SS One was since 1927 with the SS. He lived not into the Saarland in this time.
This cap comes directly from private. Without effects.
    The condition is almost unworn.

What is the opinion of the experts ?
Can i investigate the Material and the Age.

This informations are from the Seller. Could be a hot story.

    Tanks in Advance.

odd chinstrap looks plasticized, maybe somehow bonded or 'vulcanized' with cloth or even? whatever, kampzeit or 'traditionsmuetze' from late '30s it's a beauty.

Did you get the cap directly from private or through somebody ?
The chin strap is a typical postwar plastic strap .
Could we have a better pic of the Grommets Inside and of the leather band back ?
