Would like to start a discussion on this one guys.....I have some concerns about this one, that engraving just doesn't look right, (could just be the way the pictures are taken).

I wonder why with these rings people "tried" to erase their name or if it wasn't the recipient whoever after the war tried to delete the name but they could never do a through job and get it totally erased. (i understand the actual reason behind trying to hide ones identity because of the Association with the SS, I meant more why try and not complete the job)I'm always suspect of such rings, plus it being mint as well (I realize there are legitimate mint rings)..... To each their own!
