    Aufklarer Strap

New Pick up. Happy to have it in my collection.
Saw a photo of another one and same rank actually, but do not know who's collection it resides in now.

      Great strap Jerry
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

        Great addition
Odd how the Latin "A" has been used to signify Recon
        and not the Gothic "A".
The Latin "A" was usually adopted to signify Artillery.

Although I no longer have it..I pulled the identical strap less tress out of the woodwork in the 80s..I think it might be in a Mike Beaver book..I believe mine had come from the Normandy campaign..Congrats

I do have the same one, from a Wiking Guy, without the silver litze.
Taken as a souvenir with the cuff title in France in 44.

Jerry, they are not on a wrapper , just a loose pair but I have pics of them also worn on the field grey tunic ( four pocket )

Thanks for the update. Cool to have a photo with them on a 4pocket tunic. Always thought of them on wrappers!

It is possible to see a reverse side of a shoulder strap?
