No I can’t post one I like the one in Beaver’s Vol.1 Uniform book.
The pointed strap been worn in 35 in use for a very short time the LSSAH strength was 2,600 so talking roughly maybe 5,000 boards
my understanding through my own research everything was recycled so would a pointed green board survive ?
The rounded strap in green again maybe around 5,000 boards been worn maybe till 41 till early 42 maybe a few survived
to be picked up by veterans ?
So in my opinion finding a genuine board is very doubtful and these boards been sold as singles is because it’s very easy to spot reproduction boards when there sold in pairs.
Pritchett’s GD uniform book explains how boards were put together so makes it a little easier to spot dodgy boards.
The end of the day if your happy with what you own and sleep easy at night, not relying on them as a cash investment what people think doesn’t matter.
Where are the photo's with chain stitched boards ?

          Hi JK,
Do you have any evidence of the pointed boards being worn by the LAH in 1935?
All the period images I have seen of the newly introduced field grey uniforms show the rounded pattern.
If photos exist I would be very interested in seeing them.

              JK,
I’m not quite sure what you think I’m “implying “.
It was just a simple question. You stated that the pointed strap was worn in 1935 and, as a student of the SS-VT, I was interested in what you might be basing that on, as all the evidence I have seen points to the rounded boards.

JA53 , if you have any empirical evidence to support
this ( which you don’t) , your just pulling “statistics “ out of your ass . :

The right board raised some discussion. I have always thought this is a good one - it was once sold on WAF / Estand with a document together. I saved some pics from this one. But this board Needs a closer inspection.
Back in the day when I actually enjoyed collecting LAH items, this strap was in my collection for a time.

If my memory serves it came from UK dealer Keith Beaumont and some time later I traded it with a dealer at a Nottingham Arms Fair. At the time the consensus was that the strap was good however, that was a long time ago now.

Incidently, the document in the image was not associated with the strap when I was the owner.
