Yeah, that's pretty cool... but the two GIs wearing with what appears to be painted camo jackets and one helmet cover are very interesting too!
You also get a very brief glimpse of American film director George Stevens (hands in pocket) with his crew at 6:17 and again at 7:50 walking towards the camera... heck he's in lots of the clips.

You can see the crossed rifles of an American infantry officer on the collars of one of the "Panzer" crewmen under his wrap in one of the close-up shots, so definitely NOT SS troops.

US panzers dress up
Notice the eagle on the SS panzer officer tunic in #9 not normally ever seen . I believe there a few black white stills from this series that show US forces examining these wrappers before they dressed up in them ?Comment

Looks like the printed Non-Com style to me . . . or MAYBE even one of those Dachau "Ugly Bird" types once shown on GDC, long ago - but the shorter wing length doesn't quite match up.Originally posted by jimt View Post
