2) Can you provide us the direct link in which you found the original badge you posted ?
I prefer to repost good pics that the low-fi ones you uploaded.
3)
I'm not a specialist on this badge, and i don't know if copies exist.
But after checking a dozen of badges on the net, i noticed that at least two variations of pin exist for the back of the pin.
In your case of your badge, this is in my opinion not the main problem of it.
The problem is that i found a very similar badge sold by militariaplaza.nl which is having the exact same oxidation marks - despite the two badges are different.
It is doubtful that badges would have been delivered at the time with such "damages/errors" in them.
Or the two badges are casted (fake) copies, or one of them is fake...
Below is a small study about the two badges that show the same rust oxidation... The Militariaplaza badge is on the left. The original badge from an unknown website is on the right.
Swinemunde68, i'm asking you the link where you found this badge which you originally posted in your first link (the one with oxidation, i'm reposting two low-fi pictures below).
I need the link to be able to repost the full pictures for the WAF archives.
I already found all the other badges you posted in your second link (Weitze, e-militaria, etc).
