    SS armband, trash or treasure?

Picked this up with a batch of German helmets with fake decals on them, Ive seen the stitching on the swaz on other armbands but wonder if this is an SS or just a political with the black borders added? So fire away,,,Trash or Treasure!

    Thanks guys

Hi Steve, I would guess that this is a plain old party armband with the edge stripes added for value but on these cotton bands it's often a leap of faith. They are usually early and for the brown shirt not the 'standard, textbook' wool RZM kampfbinde we get used to seeing.

Does stripe material wear match the the red material? Base armband is definitely ok.

Base armband as stated is genuine- cotton originals do exist- I like this one, in my opinion this is perfectly genuine- the material of the stripes is absolutely what I would expect on this type

The long sewing stich on the stripes seems a little odd to me but it looks the same as on the disk though. Is this type of stich normal for this type of armband?
