        Hallo Jacek

Did you the checks I suggested?

There's another one to do: check the internal front capboard.

Maybe, there may be more holes than expected.

        Best regards

On picture 9 you See the shadow from
The right Wing of an Ss eagle.... Fine but on picture 11 you See the shadow from the right Wing and the left wing. The left shadow Looks like a typical Heer eagle shadow.

                Hallo Christian

Indeed, on closer inspection, this observation is very well founded. We need a very detailed frontal image of the ghost, along with the other images I wrote.

                Hallo Jacek

Your English is good Let's see the additional images when you will be able to post them.

                Best regards

                        Hallo Jacek

These images add nothing when compared to what has already been observed. Here we need a close-up of the inner frontal cardboard because from the image no. 2/3 (the one with the finger holding the front sweatband up) I'm not able to see how many holes are there.

Then we need a close-up of the images nos. 6/1 (which is strangely out of focus on the right panel bearing the "incriminated ghost" of the eagle's wing) and 6/3 (which strangely doesn't show the tip of the same wing).

You said: "not my area of interest. Can I believe it?". Now, since this is certainly a very expensive cap, before giving you my humble opinion, I would like to see the images I requested to you.

                        Best regards

                          Hi
You can believe it : ),my interest is LW badges . Visor cap and insignia I bought separately. I myself installed a skull and eagle. I have fears again straighten "mustache" because they can break. I think this is the picture you are asking for, there are only two holes for the eagle
                          cheers;

                            Hallo Jacek

I am sure that there are only two holes for the eagle's prongs. The problem is to check how many holes for the skull are in the inner cardboard. If there are more than two holes, it means that before there was an oakleaves & cockade and then the cap received a new SS black band instead of the previous Heer green. The same discourse, as evidenced by Christian, is valid for the imprint of the eagle's wings.

All this to prevent you from being cheated and to exclude (or confirm) that you have paid a nice sum of money for a rebuilt cap.

                            Best regards

                                Hi
I understand it, but to check it out, you have to unseat the lining.
How to do it in a way that does not destroy it?
                                greetings
