Hello,
finaly I have some time to make better pictures on day light ! First I want to say thank you to all which help me with determination of material-Latvija wool ! I make this photos on many asks and like studing material because it seems, this piece is not so common so I belive it will helps to someone. Producer looks like Steinmayer.It seems there were never applied collar tabs and shield, it is usual or just any sewing left after them ? Afer eagle there is still place...Besides I received many asks about seling this item. I will think about it, but to be honest I have no compare about price, can someone help me with fair price ? Nice tunic, I'm curious as well.
Just for your information, the original contract between Germany and Hungary, about lining up the Hungarian SS Divisions, contains an article where it's written that the Division has to be equipped with SS style uniforms but they have to be tailored from the Hungarian brownish/greenish wool. Of course it never happened.
,but could this be a similar case?
