That's a humped canister

To me all looks ok, and don;t see any red flags which would indicate that the inscription is a 'faker' job.

Regardless the humping part yes or no, but to find a field post number written in a Cannister is perfectly okay.

The 1 would not indicate the number of cannisters IMO. Often you find one digit markings, mostly written on the side. This one to be extremely large for that matter.
