Hello everyone!
I was a bit bored today and just thought that I would take this time to share with the forum some information regarding the unique die flaws that are only found on the front side of the early "D.&S.M. GES. GESCH." marked Deschler skulls, and maybe have a little fun while doing it.
So, here is a photo of one of my skulls and below that, are the nine die flaws that I posted some time ago in another thread. However, there is a tenth one that I have never mentioned on the forums, and it is the largest of them all. Strangely, this flaw is also quite difficult to notice while looking at the skull straight-on, especially if you do not know where to look.
Anyway, I was just curious to see if any of you collectors out there know, or can guess where it is, before I reveal it. Hint: It does not show up in the straight-on photo posted above and it is not really close to any of the other nine flaws shown here. Good luck and good night everyone!
Chris
