LAH Boards FAKE

I recently saw a pair of FAKE LAH boards on a Dealers update. I have a similar fake pair in my files. So i thought better to post them before someone gets burned.

The recently offered pair is near the same like this example.

If these are fake they are very well made repros !

Can you please expend on why do you think they are fakes?
Are you 100% certain or a gut feeling?

I don't have any straps of this kind in my collection and nothing to compare them with, hence I'm eager to learn before gettin' burned.

No, I'm not 100% sure they are repros, but pretty close to the 100% and a few % gutfeeling.

-the early monograms embroidered onto the boards are to my experience allways made of a coarser cottonlike thread. These look a bit smoother;
-never seen this kind of materals and construction on the earlier ones;
-suddenly there are several sets and single ones for sale on the web. All the same, unused;

So no, that doesn't prove that they are fakes, but for me now, I'm not keen on them.
