I usually don't get mega excited over cut-offs, but I like this one. Perhaps it's the yellow markings on the inside of the sleeve. I think these were usually at the end of a bolt of cloth.

I'm puzzled as to why the needle thread and eagle embroidery is the same tan colour, as if they had been dyed. You can see the original white thread of the eagle through the holes in the back.

Dave, can you tell if the needle thread was once the same colour as the bobbin thread?
