In Waffen-ss officers wore the same stripes with an edelweiss, as well as soldiers. Seldom officers could have edelweisses embroidered with metal threads, but it were private works.

thanks, yes am familiar with EM version, a friend of mine picked up a couple volunteer shields with an officer edelweiss , waiting to see it.
