These look to be private purchase, or not. All wool construction, cotton thread, and a grey/violet satin used on the tongue. Black wool on top and grey wool used on the bottom. Will sell them either way, your opinions are welcomed! Thank you. Dave.

They have every chance of being HG Panzer rather than SS.
The problem is that the images are not good and make them look like reproductions.
You need clear close ups of the piping, button holes and rayon/ artificial silk lining of the tongues. The colour hue of the tongue lining is important in this case.
Thus based on those images who can say for sure one way or the other ???

Chris - I have a question for you about a LW strap of yours. I tried to message you but your inbox is full. Would you message me if you get a chance please?
Regards,

For the reasons already stated, I feel these are likely reproduction HG boards given that the tress is LW pattern.
The wool looks off (soft and thick, not German wartime appearance), irregular thickness on the piping, and the toungue backing is not what I like to see. The partial tongue two-piece construction looks contrived to me, as though someone wanted to take the multi-piece underside construction one step further to make it look authentic.
As Chris pointed out, better pictures would certainly help but I would not buy these boards as originals.

There is another thread showing possibly better images of these boards than this thread;

Interesting and worth studying one way or the other,
Chris
