Very interesting.

The workmanship, materials and assembly look original.

But why stylized acorns?

Wasn't thinking of the acorns ~ saw them refered to as "lollipop" acorns in another thread here. Was the stems that looked all screwed up for me.

Funny... I emailed Mike the link. So happens he was up visiting Barry and had them pull them out for a hands on.

In the second Baton link the 2nd last SS Gen. tab is a repro. For the Police Gen. tabs on emadals they are copys, missing quite the quality.

(I know some folks have heartburn with the pointy stems variant but is there proof that these tweaks weren't ever done?)
