SS honor ring for Sch...?

Hello guys,this is an honor ring with inscribe "S.LB.Sch... 20.4.37 H.Himmler"，the name was obviously erased but not in full,which is very interesting. Maybe the owner changed his mind when he do this? But that is enough to hide his name ,dose any one knows how many "Sch..." are there in certain period?

IMO the top edge of the band has been beveled to fit nestled against another ring to accommodate a comfortable fit. Many recepients wore them against their wedding rings.

Thank you Stubben! That's a really interesting point!I think many people see the top edge would consider it as a fake,that confuses me too.However I checked other detail but IMO no clues of cast or any other things wrong

BTW,still very curious how many "Sch..." are there in 4.20.37,maybe a lot?
