            Yes clint-magnum
it will be my 71st mannequin on the major battles in WWII...
I'am reviving now the Cecina battle (29 jun - 2 jul 1944 in Italy).
Here RF-SS Div hardly fought against 34th US ID (particularly against US Nisei).

Yes, and can you imagine that many in the 80's figured those to have never existed?!

I bought my tunic for about 200 USD back then and people did not know it! It was only after the publications of books like 'Wenn Alle Brüder Schweigen' that it became a fact to the majority these are 100% authentic W-SS uniforms.

                  Yes tropical uniform surely existed!

In the Italy campaign, my favorite subject of studies and collection, I found that the two SS divisions here present were equipped both with tropical uniforms.
The "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" stationed in Italy on Sept-Oct 43 and
the 16. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division "Reichsführer-SS" stationed in Italy from Apr 44 to Gen 45.
This last division fought during the Anzio landing, Tuscany and Gothic line.
During the Battle of Cecina, one of the bloodiest battles of the Italy campaign, also named by Allies as little Cassino, this SS Division fought very hard against the 34th US ID (predominantly against the American japanese NISEI), wearing tropical uniforms.
Below we see photos of the 16 SS division
the first in Corsica 1943, the others during the Battle of Cecina 1944

Yes, Scapini knew who made the finding years ago and sold them to me.
