Fake "Totenkopf" cufftitle on RAT 27

    Hi,

    https://www.ratisbons.com/27th-Conte...nd-EM-NCO.html

as a bidder in the Ratisbons auctions, I contacted Klaus days ago a few times about this Reddick reproduction still listed on RAT 27 as lot 35-0525 that is ending on Saturday December 1st, 2018.

I provided evidences i will publish again here, at least to avoid any WAF member to be fooled by it. The "Totenkopf" Reddick model is not that complicated to identify.
I hope Klaus will have this reproduction removed in time.

I made a lot of similar studies to help collectors, Reddick reproductions should not fool anyone in 2018.

About the "white dot line", a great topic made by Adrian Stevenson on Warrelics here almost 10 years ago :

      Hi,

first and second Reddick catalogues showing the "Totenkopf" cufftitle reproduction.
The first picture was published in 2003 in Ulric Woodhams book (notice the first "Adolf Hitler" reproduction variation), the second in 1998 in Gordon Williamson book (notice the second "Adolf Hitler" reproduction variation).

In his book, Ulric Woodhams compares the Reddick reproduction with an original too.

I have given up warning Klaus of fakes after he ignored me on a batch of fake BeVo sleeve eagles a few auctions ago. Such a shame as he seems to be an honest guy.

It's a shame as he used to be good at checking stuff first.
There's some fake GD epaulettes in the same auction.
              Very sad

                            Hi,

case closed, the cufftitle was withdrawn.
Thanks to Klaus and Ratisbons for their honesty for their cufftitles collectors !
