Because there is something about it that's bothered me.
    Not skull but this eagle.
Eagle could be orginal one Assmann made eagle.
Those type was used by forest ranger or NSDAP
Sorry for my mistake but from the other side for sure this is not eagle for SS cap.

Could also be a Deschler, I have got a rather similar one, also judging by the pins that stick through the inner cloth ( I think they are from the eagle ), Same color, same pointed ends. Sorry for the picture quality ... made with both whites and yellowish light. The eagle color is similar to the one on the cap.

And the back ... I have already asked for TR period pictures of this eagle in wear on SS visors because I can't recall having seen them on SS visors. I've seen them on NSDAP visors, it's a Party eagle as far as I know.

And a third one which looks like the Assmann, but has no (maker)mark except RZM between the shoulders, though not very clear. No idea if it's the real deal. Sorry again for the poor quality with this artificial light, if you need better pics let me know. Best, Seth.

Thank you Peter, I bought these only out of curiosity, didn't see these frequently and I like the shape. The only one of three I wasn't sure about is the last one, with only RZM and no maker number or logo.
