They lack the curve to the lower leaf that I like to see BUT if they are fake they are very, very good ones.


Sorry but I'm not convinced either way.

As Ian said about the curve of the leaves. Also the construction of the acorns leaves much to be desired. Finally, what is a Gothic (Fraktur) A 4 doing on an RZM tag for a 1942 issue piece of insignia? It should be a Latin A.

I actually thought like Ian they were quite good fakes except for the things that are wrong.
I do think to myself why we inform the fakers of all these original minor details that are wrong so they improve them and then somebody gets burned another day 🤔

Looking again the leaves seem more 'chunky' than on original tabs, I had put it down to slight oxidisation.

Guess the fakers become aware of the details sooner or later anyway.
Don´t forget, that we also inform our fellow collectors, so that they will not be fooled and ripped off. The meaning of a forum like this, I guess?
